Where have all the people gone?

If you’ve ever wanted a subway car all to yourself, now is your chance. The vibration of the six train seemingly lulls the city to sleep as stations that used to be filled with buskers, commuters, and bar hoppers now sit empty.

This photo series was taken during the pandemic for a multimedia journalism course. I wanted to portray how the pandemic had caused a dip in transit usage in Manhattan metro stations so I took photo and video over the course of three hours.
